Croatia offers something rare — a country where extraordinary light, ancient architecture, dramatic coastlines and vibrant street life all exist within hours of each other. For a photographer, it's an almost overwhelming abundance of subject matter.
This workshop is designed to help you make the most of every single hour of it. Rob and Chris will be with you throughout — shooting alongside you, reviewing your work each evening, and helping you develop a genuine photographic eye rather than just a collection of holiday snaps.
Whether you're a keen amateur looking to take a serious step forward, or a working photographer wanting to push your creative range, this week will challenge and inspire you in equal measure.

Golden hour on the Adriatic, dramatic clifftops, glassy harbours at dawn. Learn to read and respond to natural light in real time.
Ancient walled cities, markets, and everyday Croatian life. How to photograph people and places with sensitivity and intention.
Roman ruins, Venetian architecture, terracotta rooftops. Finding the graphic, the abstract, and the overlooked.
Working with natural Mediterranean light for portraits. Directing subjects in an unfamiliar environment with confidence.
Each evening we review the day's work together. Lightroom workflow, image selection, and constructive critique from both instructors.
By the end of the week you'll have the foundation of a cohesive photographic series — not just individual images.

Advertising and commercial photographer with 30+ years of experience across stills and production. Formally trained in Canada, with a career spanning advertising, lifestyle, travel and product campaigns.
Unit stills and portrait photographer with 20+ years in the film industry. Gallery and key art shoots across the UK and Europe, with credits on some of the most recognised productions in recent television.
